Ford Racing is in the Blue Ovals DNA but sadly Bob Graziano who was demoted and sent to Australia after a poor performance in China and the appointment to his old job by Australian Marin Burela who is doing a fantastic job is the nucleus of Mr Graziano's decision to end V8 Supercars involvement, Mr Graziano is not happy being stationed in Australia so it was his delight to close manufacturing and now stop racing. His idea of marketing Ford sponsoring to poor performing shows like the Bachelor what relevance does this have with the Ford audience today..It amazes me as on Ford Racing site in the US , Marcus Ambrose's was big news in a X Box Ford as was the Ford Formula series so Mr Graziano is at cross purposes with Detroit...Mr Katic of Ford Marketing says there will be some people who are un-happy about Ford leaving V8 Supercars the recent voting on Speed Cafe tells me there will be more then some un-happy and the damage to Ford sales can be measured in the future but then again this would suit Mr Graziano's grand plan...If Henry Ford was around today Mr Graziano would be told to hit the road... Henry Ford was passionate about many things, making cars was important that's why Ford Australia made cars here. The rot started for Ford Australia when influences in the US tried to implement the Taurus program on Australian market this was rejected by the consumer. Ford was not making the cars Australians wanted or needed....Ford Australia needs a leader who understands our market...As Australians we should vote with our Feet and show Mr Katic and Mr Graziano that no racing means no buying Ford products and it hurts me to say this as I have had over 20 Fords and currently have four..Mr Graziano is bad for Ford Australia....
