I suppose not everybody wants to own and/or drive a car that looks similar to most others, and let's face it, there's a lot of 'individualists' who exist in the realm of Shannons ... personally, I've lost track of the variations built by BMW on the Mini theme since 2001, but I guess they're onto a good thing if it's travelled this far in 13 years ... but as time has gone by, I find that I'm not a fan of the recent Countryman or Coupe creations. One car that has caught my attention in the 'styling' stakes lately is the Hyundai Veloster ... to me, it looks a little like what a bunch of apprentices might create if given access to a manufacturer's spare parts inventory ... I don't see the words 'integration' or 'aesthetics' at work here and to top it off, when I initially laid eyes upon a Veloster SR Turbo in the paint shade of "Battle ship" pearl (see image attached), my first thought was that the car hadn't progressed beyond the primer stages of paint preparation ... I won't get into numbers ratings, but the Hyundai Veloster is definitely one current breed of car that visually doesn't score for me ...
