I have read about these great times in motor racing and watched some grainy B&W tv as a kid of the great Bathurst races and going along to the local speedway at Lismore in a Saturday night. I can still smell it. It is good to know a few of these cars have been preserved at David Bowden's collection. My pick would be 79 Bathurst with Brock never been challenged from pole and breaking the lap record on the last lap.
