Good evening madmuz. The shell is still in my garage alongside the chassis. The original shop that was to do it a while ago did not have their lease renewed. Finding another good shop was difficult as most were only concerned about fast in and out insurance jobs. My Commodore is hogging the photo but the sandblasted and etch coated HQ is in the background. I am on the waiting list at another place that gave me a good impression. I saw examples of his work and there were a few old muscle cars in there getting a work over. I am not sure of the sequence of when to spray the shell. Unlike some, he has the equipment to lift the body onto the chassis, which I will deliver at the appropriate time. He said that he will align it on the chassis and assemble the front end, doors and even the door internals(which will save me from some skin loss). He did estimate commencing it around October. The good thing is that I can take my time preparing everything on the chassis as well as every other item that will go into the reassembled car.
