The ultimate 'open-top' car (as distinct from convertible) I've always wanted to drive is the original Batmobile, immortalised in the 1960s Batman TV series. When I was a kid I thought it was the coolest thing on the planet, cleverly derived by George Barris from Ford's famous Lincoln Futura show car. He dispensed with the Futura's full-bubble canopies, so it was just as well for the dynamic duo that it apparently never rained in Gotham City!
