madmuz: Sensible advice indeed - well done. christensen: In 1982 I traded-in the best looking car I ever owned due to the cost of a full engine re-build which would have come in at less than $1,000. All I can say here is that I could never accept/pay the $11,000 estimate quoted to repair an RX8 - even if it only had 5 years left before it became a classic. By 2035 we'll all be driving Electric Vehicles and everything else considered to be polluting our atmosphere will be outlawed and considered worthless. *This was the car I 'turned my back on' in 1982.
