I sure do remember the Brolga. An ambitious Aussie kit car by Sydney designer/builder Nick Grace. Two things that stand out in my mind were the gull-wing doors and the incredibly low roof height which was less one metre above the ground (about 900mm I think). It was made to take a variety of four cylinder engines up to 1.6 litres. Although it featured a lot of racing car design principles, it's biggest design flaw was lack of cabin ventilation. It was hellishly hot inside and not somewhere Aussies would like to be on a summer's day! Great-looking car, although I must admit I've never seen one in the flesh. I wonder how many were built? And indeed how many (if any) have survived?
