Currently, I am preparing the engine for painting. After many phone calls and kilometres, I found two cans of red engine paint. There is a shortage of VHT and Duplicolor engine paint. As the car is not original, I wanted something a little different to the orange/red colour of the HQ 202. It will be the colour of my freshly painted gearbox. I have purchased a new chrome rocker cover and in keeping with the 'S' theme, I have a refurbished gold 186S air cleaner and base on the way from over east. I want it to have a little glitz so that it is worth looking at.
