While on the subject of cool P1800s, I reckon one version which actually enhances the original is the Cyan GT built by the Cyan racing team (formerly Polestar) that's won multiple World Touring Car Championship titles. The Cyan GT concept is similar to that of the meticulously hand-built retro-mod Singer 911. Apparently each car takes 12-15 months to complete and is completely reworked with full adjustable wide-track suspension, titanium roll-cage, carbon-fibre body panels, full leather interior etc and powered by a potent race-derived 2.0-litre turbocharged four producing 420bhp (313kW). Because the Cyan GT is only built-to-order for special clients, pricing varies according to specification but one of these will cost more than USD$500,000! Lots of greenbacks for a Volvo but I reckon it's the best-looking P1800 I've ever seen. From some angles it reminds me of an early model Ferrari.
