Thanks John192, they sure built nice engines. I wouldn't be surprised if they (the builders) learned a lot from their history of Motor Racing in open wheelers. Alfa cops a bit of criticism from people like Jeremy Clarkson and others regarding reliability, and I find this hard to comprehend. Is that just a bit of bias or did Alfa have minor gremlins like electrical problems or something ? The latest models like the 2019 Giulietta still appear to be quality cars, even if the rear end treatment is similar to a lot of other cars. I googled specs on the 2019 Giulia : Under the hood, the Giulia is powered by a standard 280-hp, turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed transmission. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available. The Quadrifoglio has a more powerful 505-hp, twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 joined with an eight-speed automatic and RWD only. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sounds like a nice piece of kit !
