Joe mentions South Africa above and it was an interesting combination of Holdens that were sold there in the early 1970s ... some were badged as Holden, others as Chevrolet, but from what I have seen of elusive (and now quite valuable) sales brochures of the times, all of these cars were powered by either Chevrolet's 250ci six cylinder engine or Holden's 308ci V8 ... as for the politics and perils of South Africa, and for those who are curious about the Holden HQ Kingswood / Premier hybrid that is the Chevrolet AQ Kommando, take a look at the 2006 movie "Catch A Fire" ...
