That V6 has a long and storied history in GM, Holden and Jeep/AMC, Freeway64. Thanks for including it. Mind you, I think Motor Trend is being a little disingenuous when it says that the Buick was "America's only V6 automobile". GMC debuted a V6 in 1960. Maybe back then a truck was not an automobile? The GMC V6 was 5 litres (yes 5!) and was also made in V8 and V12 formats. The latter was two V6s together. Which makes me think it would be a great short story for a future Retroautos along with some styling proposal images of the 1960 GMCs
