My 1800 has rear seat belt mounts, so was easy to have my old Kelpie Travelling 1st Class, but in the other two, the dog is belted into the front seat. Haven't had any problems, my current Kelpie has learned to keep on her side of the front seat. The Commodore has a dog hammock in the back full of blankets, pillows and doggie toys.
