There's a 60 page document out there called The Elfin Register, maintained by three enthusiasts ... the 2010 edition of the Register states that since 1987 the Globe Products Elfin 400 has been in the Tasmanian ownership of a fellow named Bert Howard. Perhaps Kevin Drage's quad-cam engine remains, the previous owner (also based in Tasmania) having owned the car since 1972. I've also read that Kevin developed a specific fuel injection system for the quad-cam engine that ultimately never ran in the Elfin, but was picked up by Pete Geoghegan to run in his Mustang during the last 12 months or so of that car's competitive life. Anyway, keep digging fellas and who knows what you'll find ... and here's another image of the Globe-Ford V8 for you, showing some of the hybrid Globe-Lucas petrol injection system in place ...
