The Holden GTR-X was always more likely to reach production than the Hurricane. The pity is that it didn't. As for those Rover gas turbine cars, they were very impressive and one was the starting point for a production Rover (the 2000, see my story in Classic Garage) but minus the turbine! In 1965 Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart shared this car which finished tenth.
