I have owned several SUVs whilst my children have been growing up. Initially when my boys were baby's, an X-trail followed by a Kia Sorrento were very practical for easy stowing of prams. My wife liked the high seating position, made her feel safer in traffic as she could see further ahead. Shopping in the back was/is also easier. As far as the sports moniker, my current e-Pace Jag is as sporty in it's performance and handling dynamics as any performance sedan could hope to be. I think that it definitely deserves the "SUV" badge.
