A great example of a name which is being resurrected - Ampol. This servo is in Bendigo and on the tramline going into the city. Taken late 1960s because there is an HK Holden in Len Bermingham's Motor Mart among a collection of mostly Australian cars including an XM or XP Falcon Hardtop. Looks like the Ampol dealer is trying to sell the XL Falcon. For 50ยข you could buy a Swag Bag which would have been in line with the Jolly Swagman promotions Ampol used to run. Looks like an Alfa trying to get past the tram. Another Australian streetscape long gone.
