Yes JW, so humble and even though I never met him, I'm told by others who knew him that he was indeed a gentleman. He certainly drove some interesting cars in the Bathurst 500 too, starting with a Citroen DS19 in 1962 (at PI) and 1964 (at Bathurst below) with Brian Foley, before switching to Toyotas (given his dealership connection) including Corona, Crown and Corolla. And he finished every time, including several top-three class results.
