Love the sound, PonyRider. A nice deep, authoritative rumble and the look on your face says it all. The 202 had extractors on it which I was going to run with but was concerned that they were not ideal for low down torque. I purchased the two piece cast iron headers as used with minor variations on the X2, 186S, Torana GTR and early XU-1s. They are a good choice on the 202 unless wanting a high revving engine. The 202 expert agreed. I spoke to an experienced exhaust shop owner about the remainder of the system. I want it relatively quiet. He suggested a twin system to maintain flow but with large enough mufflers to have the desired sound level. That is a good video, madmuz. It is quite a science to design an optimal system. Steve, I figured that I would use what Holden had perfected. The motor came with a Cain manifold and a constant 2 barrel 500cfm Holley. Low end torque would be sacrificed. The HQ racers get by quite nicely with the single Stromberg. The Stromberg that I am using is progressive.
