David ... Quite apart from the Fitch tuning efforts, I'm going to spoil your day now with a view (or a few) of Oldsmobile Toronado customising efforts, specifically those of the legendary George Barris in 1967 ... I guess even legends have an 'off' day or two ! ... the first item, in gold metallic, is the 70-X, a concept that was commissioned by Esso for display at Expo 67; four of these cars were built by Barris and apparently only two survive ... the second item, in silver metallic, is the Mannix convertible, commissioned by the producers behind the television detective show of that name, of which two cars were built and later further modified from their original debut; this survivor is the final iteration in silver and red with a customised front end appearance ...
