Didn't know about that Hasbeen. It would have been before my motoring days began in '65. The track layout at Wakefield Park is a bit deceiving Mark. From Turn 2 the track climbs up the hill to Turns 4 & 5 then descends to Turn 8. Turns 1-2 and 4-5 are double-apex right handers which creates problems for the unwary. Most of the fun is at Turns 2, 8 and 10. The track is in peril. Don't know all the details yet, but a recent Land and Environment Council ruling will limit the number of days per month and noise limits allowable. The track may not be able to continue as a viable business. It's been there for nearly 30 years, is 10km out of Goulburn on the Braidwood Road and on a sheep station fer krissake !!!
