Correct PeterMac, that's Janey's HQ GTS 350 chasing McCormack's Charger and Thommo's VW at Calder. That Marlboro series at Calder in the mid-1970s was the peak of Sports Sedan racing in this country. Thommo's car was essentially a McLaren M10B Formula 5000 open-wheeler with a Type 3 body draped over it. So, the 5.0 litre Chev V8 was located ahead of the rear wheels, making it mid-engine rather than rear-engine like the showroom version. With the rearward weight bias, it would leave the grid like it had been fired out of a cannon! Here's another shot of it, just because I loved it so much.
