Hi Dakam. What you have is priceless. Thanks for sharing this photo with Shannons Club members. Don Loffler's book has some great images of the "Super Special" before it was called the "Premier". I suspect that the name switch to "Premier" was because Holden wanted to position the car in the market as something very different from, and well above, the Special and the Standard. Also, here's a photo that did not make it into the magazine. It is of one of the operational prototypes, in Detroit,(probably at the Fisher Body experimental workshop or the Milford Proving Grounds) showing the recessed door handle area, an idea that was deleted from the production car.
