Yes Retro, probably not the most collectible car in South America given its infamous past (!) but significant from a purely automotive perspective given its long production. Mind you, some people are drawn to collecting particular models because of their notoriety. Another manufacturer that stretched the life of a 1960s design for decades was Fiat with its much-loved 124 sedan. According to Wiki, it was built under licence in numerous countries, including the USSR (and post-USSR) where it was marketed as a Lada, selling more than 17 million units before production ceased as late as 2012. It was also sold in India as a Premier (pictured) until 2001, in Spain as a SEAT until 1980 and numerous other countries including Turkey, Korea, Egypt, Bulgaria and more. It must be one of Fiat's most profitable models.
