The 1960s and '70s were also my favourite decades for Australian-made cars and the racing they took part in. So many great memories they could fill several books! The whole GT-HO/SuperRoo thing seems almost surreal on reflection, along with the era of street-legal V8 Toranas being factory-fitted with fiberglass wheel-arch flares, front and rear spoilers, bonnet scoops etc just so they could go racing. The XA-XC Falcon hardtops and utes are also personal favourites from those times. Like I said, you could fill books with your memories of those halcyon days in Australian motoring history we'll never see again.
