Thank you for remembering the Fiat 124 Coupe! What a great segment. The Fiat 124 BC Coupe beat all it's rivals (if the class was based on engine capacity) at Bathurst in 1971. It came 24th behind the Ford Falcons, Holden Toranas and Chrysler Chargers .. The Fiat beat all the other 4 cylinder vehicles and rotaries in the race. Also in the same year at the Sandown 250, the Fiat 124 BC Coupe came second in its class. The Fiat 124 CC coupe mentioned by John Wright in the segment which had featured in one of the first issues of Fast Fours and Rotaries is also a past car of mine. I bought it in the mid 1990s from a used car dealer on Victoria Rd, Drummoyne. It looked good but was too heavily modified for my liking. Here's a pic!
