Staying with the music theme, last weekend saw the passing of Peter Green of the original Fleetwood Mac - same age as us Geoff. I saw them at their first appearance - the National Jazz & Blues Festival which in 1967 was held in Windsor. Members of this band previously played with the likes of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Ex-bluesbreaker Eric Clapton, along with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker, topped the bill on the last night of the 3 day festival with their new 3-piece Supergroup - Cream.
