Never met my Mum's Parents, but they did have a new 1926 Dodge Tourer, one of the first cars in their district. However I can just vagally remember Dad's Father, a cattle dealer. He had no cars, just a horrible old '35 Chev cattle truck, and constantly being pulled up for roadworthy and rego problems. Cars were of no interest in Dad's family but one brother had a 1950? Fiat 1100 with no centre door pillar and a tiny Fiat Topolino.
