DrJohn - your pick of the Star Model Cusso is in fact a 1955 car anyway. The grille was used in the Canadian 1955 Meteor (for Mercury dealers to sell) and the side trim came from the 1956 Meteor Rideau. Real hand-me-down stuff for us Aussies. Just as well they didn't give us the '56 Meteor grille, but to me this was the start of when many of the Australian made US cars, such as Chevs, Cussos and Plymouth/Dodge/De Soto/Royal were felt to be a bit flash, certainly in the farming area I come from. Pale Green Humber Super Snipes seemed to be everywhere by the mid-60s, to be eventually traded again on finny Mercedes 220SEs.
