I'm somewhat harsh on Lexus. For so long it offered only one car in Australia, at a very high price with non-descript styling. Then, when they expanded the range it was a continuation of blandly styled clones of Toyotas. Now, with that huge grille they are just plain ugly. And still clones of Toyota. Plus, you'll find it difficult to find a current model that has a spare tyre. Puncture repair kits permeate this expensive brand. As you say Dr John, opportunity lost.
