Where will the power come from? Increasingly from renewables with storage. It was not long ago that the idea of a battery having a four hour capacity was unheard of but it is becoming a reality with one of the world's largest batteries being constructed in Collie, Western Australia. It will be rated at 197MW for four hours. Another battery rated at 500MW has been approved.
