Many years ago when I owned a Jota, I was invited to a private test day at Amaroo Park. A mate of mine had another mate who owned a Vincent Black Lightning and was using the day to set up his bike for classic racing. There was only 51 ever made so this was a special day for me to just see it and here it thundering around the track. After watching me on my Jota for a few laps the guy let me have a ride and aside from having to manhandle the bike by physically laying it down and pulling it up again after the apex, it was like riding a steam train as the torque was so strong right through the rev range. You had to ride it very loose but it was one of the most magical moments on a bike I've ever had.
