Amazing what turns up under the lino - a complete newspaper motoring supplement to the 1951 Brisbane Exhibition, or Ekka. Redman Motors must have been kept busy selling a range of Fiat 500 and 1400 (including the Cabrio), Jowett Javelin and Bradford Commercial Vehicles. I would imagine they made their money selling Perkins Diesel engines and Fiat Tractors. The Bradford price isn't listed, but a Javelin was £1075, whereas a Holden was £973, Ford V8 Custom £1277, Fiat 1400 Cabriolet £1851 and Armstrong Siddeley £1811......
