Silverloud, even more questionable than the US designed Taunus is the 1962 Vauxhall Velox/Cresta, with its Victor doors. This is the last big Vauxhall to be sold through GMH in Australia. The Holden EJ Premier was now the luxury priority and the Velox/Cresta ( as with the Falcon Futura and Zephyr Mik III) was undercut in price and status. Just one more pivotal outcome of the 1962 automotive year.
