They were quite successful in their own country, with probably 2000 made. A couple made it to Australia for evaluation, but probably lack of dealers and interest stymied that idea. Todd Niall's book is a fascinating insight into the NZ motor industry of the '50s and '60s. There are a few survivors, with others being rescued from wrecking yards as Kiwis restore their automotive heritage.
