Racecam was an all-Australian invention and a world-first which enhanced motor sport TV coverage around the globe. FordFocus, your mention of the Shiel/Mulvihill 1300 coupe prompted me to have a dig through the Autopics archive and I found this shot of the car falling over at Murray's Corner during practice. I remember the R100s being prone to toppling over too. Just ask Bernie Heahnle!
