Some interesting subject matter has crept into this thread ... Chrysler automatic transmissions were indeed employed by Aston Martin and also by Maserati, but further to this, Chrysler V8 engines and transmission driveline components also featured in combination in other European exotics such as Jensen, Bristol, Facel Vega and Monteverdi. But, if I get back on track and nominate my favoured Aussie Mopars, my choices are helped along by some fine examples that have been offered up for sale in recent years ... first up, I can't ignore the Valiant Charger, and whilst my brother and I share a VJ-series E48, I'd have to say a VH Valiant Charger R/T E49 would be top of the pops and why not a Mercury Silver car at that, the one pictured below being a 'small tank' version minus the commonplace black bonnet treatment ... second in line for me would be a VG Valiant Pacer hardtop with manual transmission (yes, the hardtop version could also be had in automatic) and it looks sweet enough in Bondi Bleach White with the standard red & black stripes offset against a less common red interior (and with a set of Charger mag wheels too) ... thirdly, I'd have to nominate a sedan which carries with it a high degree of 'slush-power' - something that Motown1 might relate to best - in the form of a CJ-series Chrysler by Chrysler sedan, the particular car illustrated below sporting 360ci V8 power dressed in Burgundy metallic paint and a perfect Parchment vinyl roof / interior combination.
