Other less exciting things have kept me away this week but today I had a little time to bend brake lines. I only just realised, under a good light, that the first lot of bundy tube I bought had a green coating, which will save me having to paint it. I always thought that it was just bare metal. A pleasant surprise. The second lot has a silver coating that aesthetically has a few blemishes so I will paint over it. I also tapped the holes in the chassis to relocate the brackets that will hold the brake lines and hoses for the front disc brakes. The existing brackets only had to be relocated from behind the suspension to in front. I also mounted the steering rag joint onto the steering box, but cannot find the clamping bolt. I know that it is around somewhere in a labelled bag.
