I am fortunate to have both, early CB750’s and a 1972 built Z1. They are all Awesome bikes, it’s interesting to note that by the time the Kawasaki Z1 was launched in late 1972 the CB750 had been around for 3 years. Honda had already made and sold more CB750s than Kawasaki would ever make Z900’s in all forms. The SOHC CB would continue on with much the same engine for a further 5/6 years, these bikes have proved themselves over and over and against the test of time, They are great fun super reliable and are highly prised and very collectable and will always draw a crowd, with often heard comments I had one or my mate had one just like that. And they are well serviced for replacement parts who would have thought 50 years on you could still buy new bits for your old clunker. Enjoy some of the best looking bikes ever. Monkeytom
