The Victor was sold through Pontiac dealers in the US, not Buick. Also most British cars were designed for both left or right hand drive, which is why many of them - Morris Minors, Austin A30s, Ford Prefects and so on all had the instruments in the centre. The E-Series Velox and Wyvern of the mid-50s had an equal sided instrument panel as well.
