This is a VC commodore that I owned from around mid-1996 to mid-2000. During this time I lived in Newcastle (predominantly) and then Southern Tasmania. The car had a rebuilt 308, bored out about 60-thou, trimatic gearbox and holden large diameter Salisbury differential. The car was on straight LPG and ran a single Impco venture carb and so didn’t have to have any pollution gear and was cheap to run. (The white VN in the pic "1QIKVN" was in Newcastle at that time too). That’s back when you were allowed to park on the Newcastle foreshore.
