Yes Silvercloud, Turner also did the 4.5 Litre engine for the Majestic Major. According to Michael Sedgwick, it was once unkindly described as a 120 mph funeral taxi, but it was quick and could apparently see off a Mark 10 Jaguar at the lights. After Jaguar took over Daimler, it was unfortunately killed off, with only about 2000 engines made for both the Major and the similar DR450 Limousine.
