I'm beginning to doubt the reliability of my VF Commodore SV6 Storm. Fabulous when it's going and effortless on long trips. However, for a car that's only done 77,000 kms, I didn't expect to be up for a torque-converter, overhaul of the air-con and coil packs on the way out. It has a slight rattle coming from somewhere in the suspension, and to take it back to the Holden dealer fills me with dread. Two weeks while they were sorting the transmission and embarrassing for them when I'd turn up in a 59 year old Morris Major Elite to discuss with them the latest developments. They refer to it as a General Motors car rather than a Holden in their text messages.
