Most information on the Cadillac EBPF says that the chassis was sent to Italy to have the body fitted. More than just the chassis went. It had the fire wall, front floor, rear floor, boot floor, rear wheel arches, sills, all interior panels, and some reports say the turret was also fitted in America to stabilize the interior panels, all fitted in America. So the cars were half built when the left Cadillac. I don't know what they did when they had to shorten the huge windscreen. Windscreens cracked when the car was jacked up. Two quarter panels, four door skins, and front guards in four pieces all went from America. Why was the guards cut in half? The PF boys then assembled the huge one piece front clip out of all the pieces. That's where the majority of the body lead was used. The story continues.
