Mike, I agree with your comments. Of all of my cars, the Commodore is the one that I never want to sell. I will always have the softest spot for my home-grown Holden. Driving that one home from the dealership gave me the most pleasure of any of the vehicles I have owned. Ponyrider, I am glad that you are enjoying my updates. Doc John, I think that cars like the Tesla Model 3 and long range Hyundai models may change perspectives. Better technology will be released in the future, no doubt, but the current technology is mature enough and quite useable. Today I unpacked my wall charger. It was in the boot of the car. It will charge at 32A on three phase power. Tesla also includes a pouch with charging cables for ordinary wall power sockets(10A and 14A). That will remain in the car. My electrician brother in-law is coming over today to see what is required for the job. The Tesla cable is a generous 6m long and very thick.
