Mark, your review of the AU Falcon was interesting, and unpopular or not I thought the red XR-8 on the owner's segment was a sweet looking ride, I would be as proud of it as the owner is. The basic entry level AU with the grey plastic interior didn't excite me much, but I remember that the EA Falcon was a bit of a dog, fraught with problems and the EB was an improvement. I had a '93 ED Fairmont in Cobalt Blue, the injected six model, with a Tickford body kit, and my brother still drives it. A great car ! (Will dig out a photo or two) Maybe the AU could have been developed in a second model is the point I'm making. Who knows ?
