Thanks Mark for the edition on the Mk3 Cortina. It is one of the most underrated cars in Australia. I have had a couple of Cortinas and still love the Mk3 as my favorite one. Mine was a 75TD XL with a 250 and 3 speed top loader in it. Yes they were a bit heavy on the front end but a few mods to the front like re-rated springs, sway bar added and new heavier shocks made them handle a lot better. One of the best Mk3 sports sedand around is the one owned by Joe Pirotta and Charlie Caruana, both who also own the Mk1 Satisfaction drag car. Both cars are still around today. See pictures.
