Another favourite Ford special vehicle of mine was Tickford's often-overlooked TS50 T3 based on the AU Falcon in the early 2000s. Some old-school car-crafting evident in that one, highlighted by its largely hand-built 5.6-litre 'stroker' version of the Windsor V8 with the-then mighty outputs of 250kW/500Nm. It had bountiful character and was addictive to drive. The last of the Tickford-badged Ford muscle cars before TVE morphed into FPV. I have nothing but fond memories of the T3, as I was lucky enough to road-test several of them at the time.
