Hi Steve, thanks for your comments. I must admit that it has only been in the past 4 years that I have been able to take the car away for the long trips. The Coupes have gone up in price over the last 5 years or so. That has also been the experience in Europe and America as well. There is a limited supply available in Australia with models needing a total rebuild still selling for $8,000 to $10,000. There hasn't been a lot of sales of drive-able cars to my knowledge in recent years but the ones I know of have been over $20,000 for a Coupe and much higher for the S Coupe. I would think a good one would sell today for $30,000 to $50,000 depending on condition. I have seen cars advertised in England between Sixteen Thousand Pound and Thirty Thousand Pound. Shannon's Auctions did have one some time ago but it was passed in. There are 2 in the Newcastle and Hunter region (including mine) with another being rebuilt at present. I think people are seeing the worth in them so not to many are being scraped. Parts have gotten pricey and some are available in Aus. but I tend to buy most of mine overseas. There could be between 12 and 20 left on the road in Australia and there should be more waiting to be bought back to life. Let me know if you need more information. I live in NSW what state do you reside. ciao Tom P.S. Photos taken recently.
