micheal shumacher used to get labeled like that. all the drivers would say, "oh if i had micheals car (ferrari) i would win all the time" yes but you also need the ability to drive something so quick around the track. when he joined ferrari in 96, they were a middle of the pack race team. five years went by and they were dominant. why? cause he stuck with the same bunch of guys, pit crew engineers and also a significant chunk of his winnings went back into the race team, so they knew what he wanted from them and vica versa. but lets not forget, the sennas, shumachers skaifes, johnsons, moffats and brocks of this sport all had to start somewhere and when they got to the top, they werent coming down due to all the hard work put in.
